Love Island’s Luca makes dig at Ekin-Su and Davide as couples turn on each other

Friday night's episode of Love Island will see the remaining couples vote for who they think is the least compatible ahead of the big finale next Monday

Love Island ’s Luca Bish seemingly makes a savage dig towards Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti in Friday night's episode of the ITV2 show as he's heard saying he “doesn’t buy” the couple.

The remaining couples will be voting for the pairs they think are the least compatible in an episode promised to be filled with “explosive decisions”.

A First Look video of Friday's instalment shows Luca and Gemma Owen, and Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri going on their final dates as they race toward the final.

In the teaser clip, Indiyah can be heard reading out a brutal text announcement.

“Islanders, tonight each couple must vote for the two couples they think are least compatible. Hashtag think it through, hashtag not Friend Island," she says.

The couples are then seen huddled up in pairs as they discuss who to vote for.

Luca appears to make a dig at Davide and Ekin-Su as he tells 19-year-old Gemma: “I love them both as people, but as a couple, I just don’t buy it."

The preview clip then shows Dami deliberating, talking about the couple he’s choosing, as he says: “They argue about the most silliest things... and it blows up.”

Indiyah agrees and responds: “In here things are heightened, but what’s happened here, compared to what can happen on the outside, is miniscule.”

Then in a heart-to-heart moment, Ekin-Su is heard speaking to Davide as she tells him: “You need to remember, baby, is he going to go to his old ways?" but it's unsure who she is referring to.

Earlier on in the clip, fans get to see a snippet of Luca and Gemma’s final date.

As the pair enjoy a romantic meal, Gemma tells the fishmonger: “I always find myself gravitating towards you.”

Luca replies: “I didn’t think someone like you would come around and make me feel like you have.”

“We’re literally the same person,” Gemma says, adding: “It’s crazy”.

“You’re just a little bit more stubborn. More stubborn than me,” quips Luca, as Gemma grins and says: “Yeah, no, I’ll take that!"

Elsewhere, as she announces the text about her and Andrew’s final date, Tasha can be seen in bed reading the good news.

“Tasha and Andrew, it’s time for your final date,” she reads. “Hashtag roses are red, hashtag Kardashian vibes.”

The pair will be treated to a romantic meal on the sand surrounded by beautiful red roses in tonight’s episode.

However, the looming shock vote could mean one of the five duos will be heading home imminently.
