Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore has admitted she was disgusted by the stench when she walked into the villa as the place reeks of "flatulence and fake tan".
The TV star took over hosting duties on the show from Caroline Flack to present the first ever winter edition of the show back in January.
Laura, 35, was a big fan of the ITV2 show before landing the job, and has admitted she was not prepared for the bad smell which eminated from the house the contestants share for six weeks.
Speaking in The Times, she revealed there aren't enough toilets in the villa and the place absolutely reeks.
She explained: "The Love island villa smells. That's the one thing the audience at home never see.
"When you walk into a house with that many men and only two or three toilets, the smell of fake tan, the flatulence, the perfumes and aftershaves all together is like this eclectic medley."
She went on to add that she feels "jealous" of the female contestants for having the confidence to walk around in skimpy bikinis all day.
Laura went on: "I'm jealous of the Love Island girls. I wish I was that confident.
"I'm inspired by their body positivity, to walk around the villa and not give a s**t.
"I wouldn't want to be filmed in a bikini for 24 hours a day."
The show had been due to return this summer, but it was axed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
ITV bosses aired a series of Love Island Australia from 2018 in its place to fill the gap left in the schedule.
