Love Island: Luca and Gemma spend time in Portugal

Gemma Owen and Luca Bish are seemingly still enjoying their current getaway in Portugal.

The Love Island 2022 runners-up posed for a loved-up snap on Saturday night, as they continued to soak up the sun alongside Gemma's famous dad Michael Owen and the rest of her family.

Luca, 23, and the dressage star, 19, jetted out to the Algarve earlier this week, where the fishmonger from Brighton will finally met his almost-girlfriend's footballer father.

The pair have been sharing snippets of their romantic post-Love Island break with their fans on Instagram - with Luca even playing the role of supportive partner on Thursday, as he posed in a pair of swim-shorts from Gemma's beachwear brand.

On Saturday night - just two days on from Luca teasing his plans to ask Gemma to be his girlfriend - the two reality TV stars posed for a cute snap together as they enjoyed an evening meal in the setting sun.

Celebrity offspring Gemma looked chic in a white tank top and large oversized sunglasses, completing her outfit with a gold chain as she flashed a huge smile for the camera.

Meanwhile, Luca added a bit of fun to the sweet photo, as he cheekily stuck out his tongue as she sipped on a cocktail while he enjoyed another romantic night alongside his potential girlfriend and her family.

On Thursday night, Luca teased fans about his plans to finally make Gemma his girlfriend - two weeks on from the pair finishing runners-up on the ITV2 dating show.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the reality TV star shared a clip of himself and Gemma enjoying a romantic stroll together as they headed out for night out together in Portugal.

Wearing a white T-shirt, dark jacket and Ray Ban sunglasses, Luca walked ahead of his possible-future girlfriend - who looked stunning in dark shades and a figure-hugging brown midi dress.

"Mission 'ask Gem to be my girlfriend' is in motion," the Brighton boy told his Instagram followers in the caption to the snippet.

In the brief video clip, Luca can be heard saying: "We're going for an evening stroll....with me girlfriend...PSYCH!"

Gemma - whose ex-boyfriend is fellow former Islander Jacques O'Neill - can be seen smirking and grinning, as she trails behind Luca as he films them during their walk in the sunshine.

Luca and Gemma's loved-up holiday comes as Capital Breakfast host Roman Kemp predicts none of the couples from this year's series of Love Island will go the distance - and spills the beans on rumoured tension between the finalists.

Roman doesn't think any Love Island couples are destined to last

Thanks to his day-job on Capital FM alongside co-hosts Sian Welby and Sonny Jay, Roman often catches up with ex-Islanders once their stint in the Spanish villa comes to an end, but he hasn't spotted any signs of long-lasting relationships.

"None of them will last," he joked with the Mirror Online on Saturday morning. ""My favourite couple has been Davide and Ekin-Su, they were lovely - really nice. They can become a new machine, but do I think they’ll all last? No."

After a chat about fan theories Gemma and Luca will be the first to call it quits - and why Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri could be the ones to watch - Roman revealed some telling signs from his radio interviews.

"What I've heard - weirdly when people have come and chatted to us - they’ve all said the same thing," he told us.

"When I say 'who did you get on with in the Villa', it was quite telling no-one said Gemma or Luca. Everyone said Tasha and Andrew, do you know what I mean?"
