Adam Collard promotes his personal training

Love Island's Adam Collard has returned back to his normal job in Newcastle, less than a month after leaving the villa.

The reality star, 26, made history as the first contestant to ever return to the ITV2 show for this year's series, having previously risen to fame back in 2018.

But Adam, who is dating Paige Thorne, is back to working as a personal trainer at his gym and took to Instagram to share a video of himself working out shirtless to motivate his fans.

The television star wrote: "Riding that wave but the mission remains the same… I love this game for the physical, the mental and helping so many people along the way.

"Let’s get better together."

Adam's followers were impressed he has wasted no time in returning to what he loves.

One wrote: "Always laser focused despite life’s rollercoaster - I love it", while another added: "You are doing absolutely brilliant with your fitness so proud of you."

A third chimed: "This gives me motivation to do better".

The couple became exclusive in the villa, with Adam telling Paige that he could see a future with her in the 'real world' and insisting that he didn't want to get to know anyone else but her.

And now, the two are officially boyfriend and girlfriend after a very straightforward conversation.

Speaking on Demand Entertainment, the reality star revealed he never actually asked Paige out.

"The only time where we got to sit on the sofa. It was only us for the first time," he said.

"I was like: 'Right, I need to ask you now because it's not for anyone's benefit, apart from mine and yours.

"'I do really want you to be my girlfriend.'"

"I didn't even ask her actually, I just told her. I just said: Right, so this is a thing now, please," he added.

Things are going well for the loved-up duo, with Adam recently visiting Paige's hometown of Swansea in Wales.

The news must be a blow to Jacques O'Neill, who was coupled up with the paramedic before he quit the show.
