Love Islanders hint they knew about Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor's secret romance
Love Islands proposed they knew about the Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor romance going on behind the scenes in their telling comments on Instagram
The Love Islanders bragged they were in on the secret with Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor.
Finally the loved-up couple told the world about their relationship on Instagram on Tuesday night.
After months of insisting they're "just friends", Chris confessed he had fallen in love with his best mate.
And Irish grid girl Maura boldly told everyone: "He's mine."
Their Love Island co-stars were equally relieved they didn't have to keep the happy news quiet anymore.
Seemingly they had let a few of their reality star friends in on the secret.
Maura's BFF Molly-Mae Hague was of course in the know about their relationship.
She declared: "FINALLLLLLYYYYYYY."
The PrettyLittleThing ambassador also shared a cryptic response about being in on the relationship in a Q&A with fans.
"Maybe I did... Maybe I didn't..." She wrote.
So naturally Tommy Fury also was clued up on what was going on behind the scenes.
"About time," he wrote.
Joe Garratt responded very much in the same way to the news being made public on Instagram.
He wrote: "FINALLLLYYYYY!! Love you two."
Georgia Steel also hinted she knew something about the romance.
She wrote: "Yayayayaya it’s official."
Georgia Harrison also commented: "Omg finally."
New couple Maura and Chris first met on the set of Love Island in the summer of 2019.
However, they never partnered up as a romantic couple on the show.
Maura took her romance with Curtis Pritchard to home turf but their relationship couldn't survive in the real world.
Chris was never in an official relationship with Harley Brash whom he tried to woo on the show.
They parted ways soon after they were booted out the villa.
But Maura and Chris have grown close over the past year after mingling in the same circles.
