Lorraine Kelly let rip at coronavirus rule-breaking celebrities as she hosted Channel 4 Show The Last Leg on Friday night.

The ITV daytime presenter did not hold back as she joined in with comedians Adam Hills, Josh Widdicome and Alex Brooker for the late night comedy show by turning the air blue with her potty-mouthed rant.

In one sketch, Lorraine, 61, dressed in a sparkly red dress and tiara to address the nation in a mock Queen's Speech.

Lorraine scolded those who had spent 2020 'flying to other side of the world to spend two weeks in a five-star hotel with 24 hour room service and stunning views w***ing yourself stupid."

The comment led to roars of cheers from the virtual audience with regular host Adam Hills holding his hands up in horror.

An undeterred Lorraine went on: "To all of us that sacrificed so much this year - I wish you a very merry Christmas and prosperous 2021.

"Unless of course you are a celebrity who broke the rules of lockdown in that case you can go f*** yourself," she scathed to yet more applause and cheer.

Viewers at home were stunned to hear veteran TV star Lorraine swearing on the box.

"If a global pandemic was all it took for Lorraine Kelly to tell celebrities to go f*** themselves on live TV then frankly, I’m coming round to the whole affair," praised one.

"Lorraine Kelly saying go f*** yourself is gold," commended another.

While others said they much preferred Lorraine's sweary self on The Last Leg than her usual ITV daytime role.

While Lorraine didn't give away any names in her scathing speech, her comments came after Sky News presenter Kay Burley and pop star Rita Ora both apologised for breaking lockdown rules.

This week Burley was dropped from her show for six months after flouting the rules as she celebrated her 60th birthday.

She took to Twitter to say she was 'embarrassed' for her 'error of judegement.'

While singer Ora also issued two grovelling apologies this month after she was first caught breaking the regulations by hosting a 30th birthday party in lockdown and then again for failing to self-isolate after a trip to Egypt.
