Little Mix'sJesy Nelson has shared a strong new look after a panic attack yesterday left her unable to perform her solo.

The star, 28, suffered a panic attack before she and the girls were due to perform on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.

Luckily, bandmate Perrie Edwards was on hand to "jump in last minute" and perform Jesy's parts for her.

Now Jesy has posted a powerful snap debuting a bold new look.

The songstress rocked a motorsport-inspired long-sleeved dress, paired with laced up platform boots.

She wore her newly blonde hair loose as she posed for the camera in a confident power stance.

Jesy's been supported by her bandmates, celeb mates and fans since suffering her panic attack.

She's always been very open about her struggles with anxiety, last year revealing she'd tried to take her own life after she was propelled to fame on The X Factor.

Yesterday she confided in her fans a clip of the girls at rehearsals for their Live Lounge performance.

"Rehearsals," Jesy wrote, "So my nerves got the better of me today and I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for live lounge today and like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it.

"This is what we originally did in rehearsals."

She's since been swamped with messages of support, chief among them Radio 1, who wrote: "You absolutely smashed it. We love having you in Live Lounge!"

DJ Clara Amfo weighed in: "What I saw today was TRUE sisterhood, salute to you Jesy for your transparency with your fans and to your girls. You’re ALWAYS welcome! xx"

"Everyone has those moments but sharing them is what makes you so inspiring," one penned.

Another gushed: "I think it’s so brave that you still have been able to perform after you had a panic attack. It shows again how incredibly strong you are!!

"We are all so proud of you!! I love you so much I’m sending you a virtual hug!"

Clara today added on her Radio 1 show: "I just want to say, big up to Little Mix. I think we can all agree that Little Mix must be protected at all costs.

"Yesterday you may have noticed, that the gap between hearing the latest single and the cover was a little longer than usual, and Jesy's been very open and very honest about why that was."

She added: "I just want to stress, and what I really think they need to be bigged-up for, is that those four women are as thick as thieves.

"What I saw yesterday was a great example of real sisterhood and them just showing why they're such a great band."
