Lisa Armstrong has remembered her later father with a heartfelt tribute to his life.
The 43-year-old makeup artist posted a photo of a special memento made in honour of his life, 17 months after he lost his battle with cancer in May 2019.
Sharing a photo of the tribute on Instagram, Lisa posted a photo of the candle holder which was adorned with photos of her with her dad when she was a child, along with a special dedication to her beloved father.
Lisa posted a photo of each side of the candle, to show off the heartfelt tribute and captioned the post Thank-you @designitdave that was so sweet of you to think of me and send me this wonderful gift... I love it!!! #mydadda#daddiesgirl#misshimsomuch "
Lisa had written on one side of the candle: "Those we love, don't go away, they walk beside us everyday.
"Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, still very dear."
This follows an inked tribute that Lisa had to her dad on the first anniversary of his death earlier this year.
She shared a pic of a tattoo she had on the back of her arm near her elbow in which she had her dad's birth date along with the word "Ohana", which is Hawaiian for ‘family’.
The tribute comes at a time when Lisa is said to be 'finally in a good place' two years after her devastating split from TV star husband Ant McPartlin.
The Strictly makeup artist is currently riding a wave of fortune with the launching a successful make-up range with Avon, moving into a new home and with a new man in her life.
"She's got new guy, she's working hard with her new career and she's got a new house. Life is going really well for her and she's in a really good place," an insider told new magazine.
Since finalising the divorce, with a rumoured multi-million pound settlement, Lisa is said to have finally put the fallout behind her.
"They're never going to be best friends, but she's saying that she's over it and she''s got her own life," added the insider.
"Even when she was seen clearing his stuff out of their house, that was just her moving on. She was cleansing.
"It's like that was one part of her life, she had great times, but it's over and she's moving on . She's never been happier."
