Linda and Anne Nolan unite for brave photoshoot after losing hair to cancer treatment

The two siblings - who rose to fame in pop group The Nolans - revealed that they are suffering from cancer, over the weekend

Linda, 61, and Anne Nolan, 69, bravely revealed that they are both battling cancer, over the weekend.

Linda's incurable cancer is in her liver and she previously battled breast cancer in 2006, cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm in 2007 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.

Anne has stage three breast cancer, the most serious being stage four.

And the pop star sisters - showed that they are united in their health woes as they posed for a number of snaps together.

Proving the pair - - whose sister Bernie died from cancer seven-years ago when she was just 52 - are supporting one another as they both suffer from the horrible illness and endure chemotherapy, they stood alongside one another in the beautiful images and held hands.

Both the ladies - who have lost their hair from treatment - smiled as they put on a stunning display with perfectly applied make-up.

A spokesman for Linda, 61, and Anne told the Mirror: "It is with a heavy heart to confirm that Linda and Anne are battling cancer together. Linda’s incurable secondary cancer has spread from her hip to her liver, with Anne having a grade three breast tumour.

"They were both diagnosed following filming of their Quest Red show The Nolans Go Cruising and are now undergoing chemotherapy together

"Linda and Anne would like to thank the public for all the love and support they’ve received.”

"I don't want to die. I love my life so much," Anne tearfully told The Sun.

Linda says losing her hair reminds her of their late sister Bernie.

She said: "I look in the mirror now and I see Bernie, because I think we're so alike anyway and it just brings back all of her trauma and how sick she was."

Maureen Nolan has now moved in with Anne to take care of her, while Linda is staying at Denise's house.

The sisters are both having six rounds of the treatment in total.

Anne will then have either a mastectomy or lumpectomy.

This will most likely followed by radiotherapy.
