Actor Bert Belasco has died at the age of 38.
The Let's Stay Together was found dead in his hotel room after suffering a 'suspected fatal aneurysm', reports TMZ.
Bert was holed up in quarantine in Richmond, Virginia as he prepared to start work on a new project.
He was found on Sunday after his girlfriend asked hotel staff to check on him when she couldn't get hold of him.
A source told TMZ that blood was found on Bert's sheets.
His father Bert Sr. believes his son suffered 'a fatal aneurysm' but the family are awaiting autopsy results.
Bert was a rising star who was best known for playing Charles Whitmore in BET's Let's Stay Together for 52 episodes from 2011 to 2014.
His character was the fiancé of Stacey Lawrence, played by Nadine Ellis, 49.
He also starred in the TV series Pitch and Justified and the film WTF: World Thumbwrestling Federation.
Bert also won fans for starring in the famous Betty White Super Bowl commercial for snickers.
The 2011 ad saw the Golden Girls icon playing rugby with a group of male pals.
Bert, who played one of the teammates, told her, "You're playing like Betty White out there."
Actress Jackee Harry joined those paying tribute on Twitter, as she shared her shock at the news.
"Heartbroken at the passing of Bert Belasco - a talented, kind young man who I had the pleasuring of working with numerous times on #LetsStayTogether. Squeeze your loved ones tight! Tomorrow is never promised," wrote the former Sister Sister actress.
Yvette Nicole Brown also spoke of her loss, revealing to her followers that she had only spoken to Bert a week before his death.
