Lauren Goodger reveals touching tattoo to honour late daughter Lorena

Lauren Goodger has shared a touching tattoo she has had inked on her wrist in tribute to her late daughter.

The former TOWIE star, 35, was left devastated on July 8 after her daughter Lorena died just moments after she was born.

Days later, she shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post two days later alongside a photo of her baby's tiny hand in hers.

Taking to social media today, Lauren - who collected Lorena's ashes last week - shared a short clip of her daughter's name tattooed on her arm with a butterfly.

She wrote: "Today. For you my baby girl."

Lauren, who is also mum to daughter Larose, previously said that she is having a post-mortem done on Lorena to find out exactly why she died.

She has explained how doctors battled to save 9lb baby Lorena but she sadly died just minutes after she was born.

"They think her oxygen may have been restricted. That is why I am having an autopsy," Lauren explained from her Essex home.

"I need to understand how she died for my own sanity."

She went on to tell The Sun how she thought her late baby "would wake up" as she looked like she was sleeping.

Lauren was left devastated over her daughter's death

After doctors tried to save the newborn baby, Lauren was sadly told she had died.

"Lorena was a healthy baby and it was a textbook pregnancy," the grieving star explained to the publication.

"They think her oxygen may have been restricted because she had two knots in her cord but normally babies can still get enough oxygen despite this."

In an emotional post on Instagram last month, Lauren shared the devastating news of Lorena's death.

She wrote: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me there was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect."

She added: "I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My Lorena I love you so much."
