Kym Marsh is going under the knife to have a hernia removed.
The former Coronation Street star says she's opted to have an operation on her hernia after it left her in so much pain she couldn't work out at the gym.
Kym, 44, said she was desperate to get back into exercise but was restricted in how much she could do because of the pain.
Hopefully, she won't have to put up with it for much longer and can get back to her hectic lifestyle.
She told OK! magazine: "I posted a photo of myself in a sports bra last week as I've been trying to get back into exercise. I'm suffering from a hernia and it's causing me pain. I'm still going to the gym but I'm not able to lift weights or go as hard as I normally would.
"The doctors have suggested physio, but it's not getting better and my schedule is so packed. I'm going to book surgery to have it removed.
"I'm gearing up for filming of Morning Live on the BBC this month. Thankfully, I've managed to get a place to live sorted and it's all falling into place. I'm really excited to get started but I'll still be coming back home every weekend to see my family!"
Kym had vowed to be the "best version" of herself as she posed up in her sports bra, showing off her washboard abs.
She had captioned her snap: "‘What’s your why?’ I absolutely love these sports bra’s @dbasports it sounds mad but the captions motivate me!!! What what is my why?...... because I wanna be the best version of me I can be! Healthy body, healthy mind!"
Kym's post gave her fans some much-needed encouragement.
One told her: "Ok so I need to pull myself out of my dark hole and sort my life out. Seeing you looking so fabulous and the picture I took tonight of mysellf has given me the jolt I needed. You are living your best life flower."
