Almost three decades after they dated, Kylie Minogue has reunited with Lenny Kravitz....For a Children in Need single.

The pair - who were together briefly in 1991 after Kylie split from Michael Hutchence - have teamed up to record a charity cover of Oasis’ Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

They make up part of Radio 2’s star-studded All Stars lineup, with also includes Cher, Robbie Williams and Chic’s Nile Rogers.

Kylie - now loved up with Welsh boyfriend Paul Solomons - said taking part in the collaboration was a “privilege”, while Lenny - understood to be single - described it as a “pleasure”.

The track also sees Bryan Adams reunite with Mel C more than 20 years after their 1998 duet, When You’re Gone.

“Let’s all help make it into a big smash record to help the kids,” said Bryan.

Cher, who recorded her section in Malibu, said: “I felt very emotional recording this song, it was very important to me.”

The song will be available to download from Friday, with a minimum of 50p from each sale in the UK benefitting BBC Children in Need.

In May this year, Radio 1’s 1 Live Lounge Allstars cover of Foo Fighters’ Times Like These topped the charts, featuring Dua Lipa, Chris Martin of Coldplay, AJ Tracey, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding.
