The momager opened up about the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and assured fans that just because the show is ending, that does not mean they will no longer be able to keep up with the family’s lives. After all, Kris Jenner is nothing if not business-savvy so she is well aware that social media is really important nowadays in the entertainer career.
With that being said, Kris Jenner explained that social media was also a factor when it comes to the decision to end Keeping Up with the Kardashians in the first place!
During a new interview for Beauty Inc., Kris dished that: ‘When we first started, there was no Instagram or other social media platforms. The world’s changed. Now there’s so many, the viewer does not have to wait 3 or 4 months to see an episode. We can give them all the information anyone would ever want in real time. Social media is the fastest and most controlled way to get the message out.’
‘The consumer gets to see the products the girls are working on in real time, and they know we’re going to get it out the door pretty quickly. The girls want them to be part of the journey to keep them engaged,’ she went on to explain.
Obviously, the momager knows very well what she is doing.
After all, she, as well as the rest of the family have really successful businesses and she explained that all of her daughters’ success is owed to the fact that they always make sure to listen to their fans and consumers.
‘The girls have created a relationship. Kylie listens. Kim listens, and she is able to adjust and adapt accordingly. If something goes wrong, she is the first person to say, ‘I hear you. Let me change that, because you are absolutely right.’ The consumer loves that,’ Kris told the news outlet.
