Larsa Pippen says she was burgled while out of town to evade the attentions of an obsessed fan.
The ex-wife of basketball player Scottie Pippen and former BFF of Kim Kardashian says thieves broke into her Los Angeles home and made off with some expensive "high end" items while she was away in Miami.
Larsa, 46, says she'd headed to Miami because she was dealing with an over-zealous fan in LA and had been forced to get out of town.
Telling her fans about what happened, she posted on her Instagram story: "Could 2020 get any crazier? A stalker in L.A. forced me to go to Miami only then to find out my house in L.A. got robbed. Let's pray for 2021."
Sources told The Blast that police were called to Larsa's home after intruders broke in and made off with "many personal and high-valued items".
The insider said: "Despite the elaborate security system the robbers were able to break in because they disabled the electricity to the whole street."
It's said the house was left completely trashed and Larsa was scared to go back.
Nobody was home when the burglary took place.
The star is said to believe that the press attention surrounding the launch of her jewellery line, Larsa Marie, could have caused burglars to target her.
It's said that the incident is currently under investigation by law enforcement, as is the situation involving the obsessed fan alleged to be following her.
It comes after reports that Kim is terrified Larsa, her once-close friend of 10 years, is going to spill her secrets after being offered her own reality show.
Kim is said to be worried about Larsa's new opportunity, which came within days of the famous family announcing they were ending Keeping Up With The Kardashians next year.
Insiders say mum-of-four Kim is worried that Larsa will not only spill her secrets but that she'll go on to become more famous than her.
A source told Closer magazine: "Kim heard Larsa was in talks for her own reality show just days after they decided to end theirs. Kim's upset about it because if Larsa becomes a global superstar, there's a huge possibility she could eclipse Kim, stealing her fans and her business empire."
Kim and Larsa unfollowed each other on social media around the time of Kanye West's public meltdown and have remained distanced from each other ever since.
