Kim Kardashian 'hopeful' she can save marriage but Kanye won't give up presidency bid

An insider has claimed Kim Kardashian is 'exhausted' but hopeful that she can work through the problems facing her marriage to Kanye West as it's revealed they are in the Dominican Republic

Kim Kardashian is said to be 'hopeful' she can work through her marriage problems to Kanye West, a source has claimed.

The insider revealed that the couple chose the Dominican Republic on the setting for their 'make or break holiday' as they work through their ongoing issues.

Kim is said to be 'exhausted' by the drama with Kanye still unwilling to give up his presidency bid.

A source told People that while Kim is tired, her main focus is saving her six year marriage for the sake of her children.

"They decided to travel together so they can be away in private," said the insider.

"Between the kids, work, and dealing with Kanye's bipolar episodes, it's been hard for Kim to think clearly," they explained.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star previously asked fans for 'understanding and compassion' after her husband took part in a chaotic presidential rally in South Carolina last month.

His tearful speech prompted a week of late night Twitter tirades where Kanye spoke on abortion and slammed his famous in-laws including mother-in-law Kris Jenner who he compared to North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

Despite the controversy, Kanye is said to be unwilling to give up his dream of making it to the White House.

"Kanye has made it clear that he will continue to run for president. Kim is not happy about it, but this isn't her focus," the source said.

"She just wants to do what's best for the kids. And she thinks finding a way to save her marriage is what's best for them."

This evening Kanye returned to Twitter for the first time since his meltdown.

The rapper posted a picture of his eldest daughter North at his Yeezy Paris Fashion Week show from earlier this year.

He left no caption other than a red love heart.

Yesterday, Donald Trump addressed rumours he has been pulling strings to help Kanye get state ballots for his presidential election.

Trump denied this was the case and added that he did like Kanye very much and he'd always been nice to him.
