Kim Kardashian has revealed that she feels powerless when it comes to helping her husband Kanye West.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star released a statement about her husband's mental health and his experience with bipolar disorder.
The 39-year-old has remained quiet since Kanye’s presidential campaign launch, during which he claimed that Kim considered an abortion while pregnant with her daughter North.
Kanye has also taken to Twitter to slam his in-laws by claiming that Kris Jenner tried to 'lock him up', and insinuated that he cannot trust the Kardashian/Jenner clan whatsoever.
Since then, the 43-year-old hit-maker has continued to blast his wife while he takes cover in a secure area of his Wyoming ranch.
Kanye claims that he has been trying to get a divorce from the makeup mogul for over two years after she reportedly met with rapper rapper Meek Mill in a hotel room.
Following the latest claims, the reality TV siren has finally decided to speak out amid the drama.
In the lengthy message, which she posted to Instagram, the 39-year-old asked her fanbase to have compassion for the rap star.
The concerned mother-of-four also confessed that she and her family feel powerless in terms of providing Kanye with the help he needs.
Kanye's loved ones cannot take action due to the fact that he is not a minor.
Kim wrote: "As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows know incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.
I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of my children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health.
"But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.
"Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the person is a minor."
Kim's post appears to suggest that her husband is currently going through a bad episode related to bi-polar.
Kanye was officially diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018.
During an appearance on David Letterman’s Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction last year, the talented star explained what it was like to have an episode.
The Yeezy designer explained: "When you’re in this state, you’re hyper-paranoid about everything.
"Everyone - this is my experience, other people have different experiences - everyone now is an actor. Everything’s a conspiracy.
"You feel the government is putting chips in your head. You feel you’re being recorded. You feel all these things.
"You have this moment where you feel everyone wants to kill you. You pretty much don’t trust anyone."
Following Kanye's outbursts, it's claimed that Kim has met with divorce lawyers to discuss the future of their relationship.
Despite the claims, the TV star made no mention of the divorce in her eye-opening statement.
