Kim Kardashian brags about her presents and room of roses after 'tone-deaf' party

Kim Kardashian defiantly bragged about her huge pile of presents amid the ongoing backlash about her tone-deaf island party

Kim Kardashian boasted about her stack of presents and room of roses.

The mum-of-four dared to drive her fans wild with envy after she sparked an outcry over her controversial island party which was branded "tone-deaf".

As the queen of reality television, it's really no surprise the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star didn't let COVID-19 stop her A-list extravaganza.

Roses in every kind of bouquet - including in the shape of a 40 - flooded a spacious room where Kim has been staying.

The floral displays in bowls and vases filled the space with colour in pinks, whites and purples.

They were sent by her catalogue of celeb pals and fancy connections including Chrissy Teigen, Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia, KUWTK crew and Skims team.

Each rose arrangement was certainly a statement piece.

Some of the elaborate rose displays even had little presents perfectly wrapped and tucked into the bouquet or left next to it.

Her daughter North was eyeing up the impressive three-tier cake with a Barbie Kim in the middle - replicating her own bizarre 40 birthday shoot.

But Kim was clear no one was allowed to eat that specific cake just yet.

There were also sweet treats gifted in the shape of a beauty palette as a tribute to her business KKW Beauty.

Among the pile of presents, there were a gorgeous pair of designer silver heels.

It's believed the businesswoman splashed out $1million on the controversial island bash.

Kim continued to defiantly post about her birthday treats after she sparked furore on social media.

Criticism for the star continued to snowball on social media and in the comments section of her posts.

Kim was blasted as "tone deaf" as many people drew attention to the US death toll in the pandemic hitting around 226,000.

Others have pointed out the non-essential travel ban put in place in California.

But the travel ban doesn't apply to her.

Especially for the showbiz extravaganza, Kim had organised for all her V.I.P guests - from her famous clan to old school pals - to quarantine before the trip, have multiple health screenings and travel via private plane.

Even in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, the reality queen ensured her show-stopping birthday plans didn't go amiss.

"Before COVID, I don't think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment," she wrote on Twitter.

"After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.

"We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40."

Kim continued to keep her 190million followers in the loop, despite fuelling the fury of the backlash.

In an attempt to swerve the backlash, she urged her followers to vote now she had their "attention".
