Kelly Brook said she grieved during the first week of lockdown.
The former model, 41, began to mourn the life she had before the coronavirus pandemic struck, forcing her to endure sleepless nights and waves of grief.
Recalling the first lockdown back in April, Kelly exclusively told The Mirror: "When you’re in a crisis situation such as a lockdown, which I don’t think any of us have lived through or experienced before, I started to grieve the first week of lockdown.
"I had a tight feeling in my chest, it wasn’t anxiety, the only time I’ve felt like that was when I’d lost a loved one."
Unsure of why she was feeling that way, Kelly began to search for reasons for her reaction to be such an emotional one.
"I was trying to figure out why I was having this feeling, because no one had died," she said.
"I realised it was a feeling of loss. You know, just not having my life anymore."
Adjusting to a new way of life came at a price for Kelly, who began to experience waves of grief and depression on top of sleepless nights and many tears.
"Not being able to see my work colleagues. Not being able to see my family. Not being able to go to my local coffee shop. Not being able to travel to Paris to see my boyfriend’s family," she said, as she listed off all the things she soon started to miss.
"I had this huge wave of grief and it would keep me up at night," she added.
"I would have to go sit in the kitchen and pour myself tea and I would just breathe and try to overcome it. It was just such a shock to everybody and everyone dealt with it in a different way."
After a couple of weeks of adapting to the new normal, Kelly says the grief subsided over time.
"It did subside over time but it was so huge and I don’t think we had a lot of time to process what we’ve been through," she explained.
"I feel like we’ve all just been trying to figure out how to survive and pay our bills, and how to work from home."
The brunette bombshell has been spending lockdown with her hunky French boyfriend Jeremy Parisi and their new pup Teddy.
Kelly also revealed to The Mirror that she's never felt sexy in her life, despite carving out a successful modelling career as a pin-up girl.
