Kay Burley has today headed off on holiday to South Africa after being taken off air by Sky News for breaking the coronavirus restrictions with her 60th birthday bash.
The shamed presenter will be vacationing at Richard Branson's exclusive game reserve, according to the Daily Mail, after making headlines herself this week.
Kay apologised to her Sky colleagues and branded herself an 'idiot' for hosting the party and for using the toilet in a separate restaurant afterwards.
Days after being slapped with a six months suspension from work, Kay was spotted making her way to the first class lounge at Heathrow Airport as she awaited her flight out of the country.
She looked ready for action in her Karrimor walking boots and a zebra print face mask as she made her way through departures.
Kay was later seen having her temperature checked by a member of staff before relaxing in the cordoned off area.
The presenter had teased her lavish trip abroad on Twitter on Friday night.
She told her followers: "Lovely people, whatever else you read be safe in the knowledge I was always heading to my beloved Africa on Friday to sit with lions.
"They kill for food not sport."
Earlier this week a leak email from Kay, reportedly sent to her Sky News colleagues after her party was rumbled, saw her admit she had let her team down over her coronavirus rule break.
The message seen by Mail Online read: "Dear all, I'm an idiot.
"I'm really very sorry. I know I have let so many of you down.
"There's really nothing else I can say to excuse my actions."

Political editor Beth Rigby and correspondent Inzamam Rashid, who were both present at the party, have also agreed to come off air for three months.
Kay took to Twitter shortly after her suspension was announced, and wrote a lengthy apology, insisting her actions were accidental.
She wrote: "I have agreed with Sky News to step back from my broadcasting role for a period of reflection.
"It's clear to me that we are all in the fight against Covid 19 and that we all have a duty to stick firmly by the rules.
"It doesn't matter that I thought I was Covid-compliant on a recent social event. The fact is I was wrong, I made a big mistake, and I am sorry."

"I was one of the founding presenters on Sky News. No one is prouder of our channel's reputation, the professionals on our team, and the impact we make.
