Katy Perry has sent Kim Kardashian a gift after her now ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson was referenced in a video earlier this month, which was uploaded prior to news of the break-up

Katy Perry has reached out to Kim Kardashian with a pair of sandals from her shoe collection after grimacing over her now ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson on social media recently.

Kim, 41, took to her Instagram Story yesterday to share that she had received a gift package from the singer, 37 - who now owns self-titled footwear brand Katy Perry Collections.

The beach-themed box included a pair of sandals that feature seashell-shaped heels, as well as other gifts - with Katy having sent a note which read: "If the shoe fits wear it."

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum expressed gratitude for the sandals - which are currently on sale for $76.30 (£63.33) - in the caption that accompanied her post.

It comes two weeks after Katy mentioned the reality TV star in a post on TikTok, in which she used a filter that allowed her to have a go at the popular childhood game M.A.S.H.

The game 'predicts' the future of players, speculating over the house they will live in, the car they will drive, the number of children they will have and their partner's identity.

Katy posted a video of herself playing it on TikTok earlier this month, with it predicting a extravagant home and car, as well as saying that she will have six children in her lifetime.

The video was uploaded just days before it was reported that Kim and Pete had broken up

It predicted that her 'lover' would be Pete, 28 - who had until recently been in a relationship with Kim. Katy appeared to slightly grimace when the game listed him for her.

She addressed the awkwardness in the caption of the video, with her seemingly responding to the game having claimed that she would be having children with Pete in the future.

Katy wrote: "No offense [Kim] (and Orlando?)" She has been in a relationship with Orlando Bloom, 45, since 2016 and he has been working with Pete on a film project recently.

The video was uploaded by the Brit Award winner on August 4, just a day before it was reported that Kim and Pete had split up after around 9 months of dating.

It's unclear whether Katy knew about the impending break-up news when she posted her video, though fans had yet to hear that Kim and Pete had ended their relationship.
