Katie Price's 'mucky mansion' caught on fire last night.
On Monday, the former glamour model's West Sussex home - that is currently unoccupied as it undergoes renovation work - caught alight and firefighters were called to the scene.
The Sun tells that the side of the large mock tudor house appeared to go up in flames after a caretaker built a bonfire next to the side of the property - and as a result a neighbour dialed the fire brigade to put out the blaze.
"Katie was horrified when she was called about the fire - apparently the caretaker built a huge fire right next to the house, and when it went up the side of the house was covered in flames," a source told the outlet.
"It was a huge fire - a neighbour called the fire brigade thinking the house was burning down.
"It was put out in the end but you could see the smoke billowing across the road."
A representative for Katie told the the website: "I can confirm there was a fire on the grounds but no serious damage to the building.
"Eyewitnesses reported to the emergency services that the the house was on fire but thankfully it was brought safely under control before any serious damage was done to the building."
In August the mother-of-five employed security guards to patrol her home and grounds 24 hours a day after a spate of break-ins at her 'mucky mansion'.
She made the decision to amp up protection after intruders were on Katie's property not once, but twice.
On July 24, Katie called the police after three men were spotted on her property.
She believes they were trying to break into her mansion before they were chased away by a neighbour.
The men were spotted emerging from her field next to her property before making off in a black BMW.
She told police that the men were questioned by a neighbour and claimed they were looking for a toilet.
But Katie had no time for their excuse.
She said: "They would have literally just driven past the services, so it's an excuse that they're looking for a toilet.
"If they were looking for a toilet, they wouldn't be in the middle of my field.
"They're clearly doing a reccy to see how they can get in."
It came just days after Katie found that intruders had entered her home and flooded her newly-renovated kitchen by leaving taps running upstairs.
She's since said that she believes her property is being targeted.
After the second incident, Katie was filmed calling the police to report it in a video she posted to YouTube.
said: "Because I had two break-ins about 10 days ago and they literally destroyed my house to bits...the vendetta against me, it's so personal...it's weird that three people have been found in my field.
"No one needs to be in my field, because you need to go across country to get there."
Katie then decided to take measures to protect her property while she stayed in a rental home nearby, before shacking up at beau Carl Woods' home - as construction work is carried out.
Katie's representative told The Sun : "On the advice of the police Katie has upped her security measures to ensure her property is safe from any more unwelcome visitors."
Katie added to the newspaper: "Anyone setting foot on my property will be reprimanded.
"I won't sit by and let these lowlives treat my property as a lucky dip."
