Katie Price is lucky she wasn't killed or paralysed in the horror fall that saw her break her feet.
The former glamour model has revealed she fell a terrifying 25ft while she was drunk and "mucking around" on holiday with her boyfriend Carl Woods and kids Junior, 15, and Princess, 13.
Katie thought she was just jumping over a small wall, but a 25ft drop lay on the other side.
Opening up about what happened, the mum-of-five told The Sun : "The doctors said I’m lucky I’m not dead. I could have hit my head and I could have been paralysed, I am actually lucky I landed on my feet.
"It was horrific pain. It felt like a nail gun hitting me continuously, like non-stop electric shocks."
Katie is also lucky she didn't lose her legs.
She added: "I thought, 'I’m never going to walk again'. The doctors said they’ve cut off legs before after seeing injuries like mine."
Katie, 42, says her feet have been left looking like "Cornish pasties" and like something out of a "horror film".
A shocking image published by the newspaper shows the huge scar that runs almost the entire length of her foot and up onto her ankle.
The huge scar has stitches in it, which Katie has since had removed.
Her foot is swollen and covered in blisters and isn't a sight for the faint-hearted.
Katie's injuries have been described as "life changing" and she's told fans that it could be two full years before she's able to walk again.
Katie said that when she landed on her feet and it was like "cement".
She tried to get up but couldn't and was instantly in terrible amounts of pain.
An ambulance was called to take Katie away on a stretcher and she says that her feet looked "bent" when she saw them in the hospital.
Katie said the severity of her injuries didn't sink in at first.
Katie has been making sure to keep her feet elevated at all times, ever since she was warned that they'd never heal if she didn't follow the advice she'd been given.
She said in a recent YouTube video: "The surgeon made it clear that I couldn't have done a worse job to myself.
