Katie Price and Carl Woods gave zero hoots about the global pandemic as they happily swapped bodily fluids during their luxurious trip to the Maldives.

The lovebirds are back home in the UK now, ensconced in Katie's huge rented pad in Surrey, but before they left the tropical paradise they stopped for a quick PDA on a pier.

Katie happily stuck out her tongue for a saliva-fuelled make-out session with Carl before they - presumably - had to be surgically separated for dinner.

As they cosied up together on a picturesque wooden pier, Katie wrapped her hand in Carl's and leaned into him for their snog.

Wearing a bright pink cami top, a white and floral ruffled skirt and her medical boots to protect the recent operation she had on her broken heels, Katie looked tanned and happy in the warm evening sun.

Love Island five-minuter Carl kept his tatts on display in a tight-sleeved khaki green T-shirt and shorts, and flashed his bright white teeth as the pair climbed aboard a golf buggy to deliver them to their underwater restaurant.

The couple, who got together in July and moved in soon after, are back home now and have been reunited with Katie's five children - including eldest son Harvey, 18, who has been the subject of a cruel and racist social media video this week.

Katie was due on Friday to give a statement to the police after an arrest was made over the video, but is yet to make that public.

Before their trip, the ex-glamour model happily shared how she'd ditched the contraception and was treating their romantic getaway as a baby-making trip.

While she was away, she missed an important bankruptcy hearing and had to dial in via Zoom instead of being there in person.

Katie, who was declared bankrupt late last year, apologised in a statement read outside court last week for not dealing with her bankruptcy issues.

"It is a long and tense process but I feel progress is now being made," said Katie.

"I can only apologise, I just haven't been able to deal with these issues or in the right mental state to understand everything that has been going on."

The mum of five - who was once worth an estimated £40 million - added: "I appreciate I have not been easy to communicate with and hard to track down, but I have not hidden."

She went on to emphasise that she would "work hard to make this right" and has been having therapy to deal with her mental state.
