Katie Price has revealed a snippet of her singing a new song, which seems to document how she has felt before meeting her current boyfriend Carl Woods.
The 42-year-old former glamour model has had a couple attempts at launching a pop career previously but this time she seems to be determined to make an impression on the charts.
Katie has been in the recording studio with renowned producer Rick Live and the lyrics to her new song seem to be a personal insight into her feelings.
Pricey is recording an album and on her YouTube series, she is seen laying down a track called 'Heartbroken', in which she opens up about how she has been treated in previous relationships.
The reality star is seen in the recording studio as she sings: "Heartbroken, can you put me back together again?
"I'm broken, picking up the pieces baby. I'm broken and nobody can see it baby. But I put me together again."
Despite it seeming to be a pointed dig at how her previous relationships have left her feeling, Katie herself insists that the song is generalised and not a direct reflection of what she has been through.
Katie says in her forthcoming YouTube video: "I'm an independent woman singing this song, Heartbroken. It's not about anyone, it's just about life in general."
According to The Sun, a source has said that Katie has been having vocal training, in a bid to be ready to tour once her album has been released.
They told the publication: "When the time comes and she's able to tour she will deliver those tunes and really prove her doubters wrong.
"Katie can hold a tune - her voice has matured and is sounding better than ever."
Despite the nature of the lyrics to Heartbroken, Katie has said that she is dedicating the song, as well as all the tracks on her new album, to her new love, Carl Woods.
She has even thought about duetting on a track with him, to show the world their togetherness.
Katie is not letting her nightmare accident in Turkey last month put a spanner in the works of her recording schedule.
She broke both feet in a fall while on holiday and she was seen in a wheelchair when she arrived at the Soho studio where she is laying down the tracks.
With a step into the building, there was some lifting work for Carl and Rick as they hoisted Katie over the threshold.
