Katie Price divides fans with snap of Bunny, 6, in full face of makeup and false lashes

Katie Price's daughter Bunny is seen wearing lipstick, enormous fake lashes and pink eyeshadow in a recent snap - but some fans have criticised the mum, saying Bunny is 'too young' for make up

Katie Price has caused controversy by letting her six-year-old daughter Bunny where a face full of makeup.

The former glamour model's daughter is seen wearing lipstick, enormous fake lashes and eyeshadow in Katie's post, which she shared on Instagram.

Katie told her fans: "Bunny loves makeup so much which isn’t a surprise because her sister @officialprincess_andre and me love it and opps I put it on @adventuresofkatieandcarl."

But some fans have hit out at the 42-year-old star - saying Bunny is "far too young" to be wearing makeup and false eyelashes.

One said: "Not false eyelashes no far too young. Make up yes all girls want too.

A second said: "Its unsuitable for a child her age. Sorry, this isnt hate, its fact."

"Wrong on many levels," another wrote.

But others defended Katie's decision to glam up her daughter.

One said: "Don’t understand why people moan, ️ didn’t you ladies want to be like mummy and copy her? I know my little girl does she’s nearly 2 and loves a bit of lipgloss and brushes my make up brushes over her face because she sees me do it and wants to copy.. just like this little girl does."

Another wrote: "We can put face paint on a child but not make up??? Don't get it..... It all washes off. She looks beautiful."

A third said: "I don’t see a prob with this at all, if she likes makeup like this she might grow up to be a professional makeup artist... If your a young dancer they look like this and put lashes on etc etc pretty dresses... let her dress up she’s only doing girly stuff after all xx."

A fourth added: "For goodness sake. She is a young girl, all little girls love having make up on. There is nothing wrong in it."

Katie has defended her decision to put makeup on her daughter.

A spokesman for the star told Mirror Online: "Katie appreciates everyone's views, she does however want to reassure all those following her that both mother and daughter engaged in wholesome daughter, girlie mummy make up fun time together.

"Anyone suggesting anything otherwise is over thinking what is a normal activity, no one was hurt or harmed during this home make up play session, but much laughter , giggles and fun was had all round. Wishing all Mirror readers a very happy Sunday afternoon from Katie, Carl and the fantastic 5!"

Bunny gave her mum's Carl, who Katie started seeing in April, her seal of approval earlier this month.
