Katie Price risks wrath of doctors to 'stand on broken feet' six months early
The model, 42, has risked her chances of making a full recovery with as she showed off on her shattered ankles
Katie Price has thrown her changes of recovery into jeopardy by standing up on her broken feet - six months early, according to a source.
The mum-of-five, who previously called being wheelchair bound 'humiliating' , has apparently flouted doctors' advice after they warned her not to put any pressure on her feet while they healed.
Brazen Katie was scolded after attempting the feat in front of medical experts as she attended her latest hospital appointment, it has been claimed.
Katie was told off by the doctor for trying to put weight on her broken feet," a source told The Sun.
“She was showing how she can stand on her toes, she’s desperate to get back on her feet.
“But the doctor said if she doesn’t take his advice seriously she could ruin her chances of recovering."
Katie had been told she must not walk a step until April.
It comes after the former glamour model was dealt another blow yesterday, when she suffered a nasty accident on her way to the hospital.
As she was wheeled into Chelsea and Westminster hospital for a check-up appointment, Katie's beau Carl Woods managed to her feet caught in the revolving doors.
"Luckily, Kate was wearing her protective air boots when the accident happened," a source told The Sun. "And apart from the pain on contact there hasn't been any permanent damage to her feet."
Back in August, Katie underwent six hour surgery to mend the bones she shattered after jumping off a 24ft wall in Turkey.
Recalling the acongisning moment she realised the height of the wall too late, Katie said when she landed on her feet and it was like "cement".
She tried to get up but couldn't and was instantly in terrible amounts of pain.
An ambulance was called to take Katie away on a stretcher and she says that her feet looked "bent" out of shape when she saw them in the hospital.
