Kate Garraway looked sombre as she arrived at the Smooth Radio studios a week after her return to hosting duties.
The Good Morning Britain star, 52, had been away from her show since husband Derek Draper was hospitalised late in March with coronavirus.
Now she's made her return, telling fans that she's suffering from a mystery eye injury.
Wearing a mask over her face, Kate looked downcast as she dragged a suitcase behind her, cutting a sophisticated figure in a blue top and white patterned skirt.
She was also snapped taking off a helmet as she stepped off her motorcycle, which she seems to have taken up in recent weeks.
And ever the friendly star, Kate gave a wave to the cameras as she stepped into the studios.
Mum-of-two Kate issued emotional thanks to her army of loyal listeners during her return and told of how excited she was to be back.
Usually one for contact lenses, Kate opted for her specs as she revealed there was mystery pain in her eye.
"I always think that when I've got my glasses on I look a bit more brainy," she laughed, "But if you're listening to me on Smooth Radio you'll know that nothing has actually changed.
"I've got a really sore eye. It's really hurting and I don't know what I've done to it. I can't put my contacts in and I'm wearing my glasses.
"The songs however, are as perfect as they always are here on Smooth Radio so do join me!"
Kate's husband Derek remains in hospital, on the road to recovery after contracting Covid-19 back in March.
He was rushed to hospital that same month, and admitted by doctors into intensive care early in April.
They placed him in a coma, and while his body is now free from the bug, the damage done has been considerable.
Coronavirus has left him with clots in his lungs, holes in his heart and made him diabetic, and Kate has warned that he faces a long road to recovery.
Kate - who shares Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11, with Derek - announced in July that Derek had emerged from his coma into a "state of minimum consciousness."
She returned to GMB the same month, telling Hello! magazine : "The doctors have been urging me not to put my life on pause.
"They've told me that I need to go back to work and create a routine in our lives again.
