Kate Ferdinand is ‘feeling in a much better place’ after miscarriage heartbreak

The wife of former footballer Rio Ferdinand, Kate, told fans she's finding "pleasure in the small things" after bravely revealing she'd suffered a miscarriage last month

Kate Ferdinand says she's feeling "much better" as she shared a gorgeous video of her son Cree on Instagram.

The wife of former footballer Rio, 31, has been dealing with the heartbreak of losing her baby after she sadly miscarried last month.

In an emotional post the star bravely spoke out about her 'devastation', but now told fans she's slowly beginning to recover.

Sharing a video of Cree talking with his face covered by a heart emoji, Kate can be heard saying: "Love you, see you soon and bye bye" - which the tiny tot tries to imitate.

The proud mum then shared a snap of her and her son walking their dogs.

Cree looks adorable in navy shorts and t.shirt, which are teamed with Nike trainers and a sweet sun hat.

Kate, meanwhile, looks beautiful in her black workout gear.

In another pic Cree can be seen helping his mum in the kitchen before Kate races her hubby Rio in the garden.

The former TOWIE star captioned the montage: "Every now & then life forces you to slow down, take each day as it comes & find pleasure in the small things

"It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks but I’m feeling in a much better place than the last time I spoke with you all. "Really enjoying the break off of socials & the quality family time … so grateful for my kids for keeping me busy, making me laugh & also driving me crazy all at once.

"I don’t normally share piks with emojis on - but these ones were too cute not too."

Kate's sweet post went down a storm on Instagram with many of Kate's fans wishing her well.

One said: "You are such a lovely person."

While another wrote: "I think you are amazing with a very beautiful family."

Last month, Kate, who is also stepmum to Rio's three children, took to Instagram telling fans she was devastated to have suffered a miscarriage.

Posting a photo from her hospital bed, she wrote: "The last time I was in this hospital I was having Cree, but this time it was because our baby had no heartbeat in our 12 week scan and I had to have surgery.

"We were so excited & planning a space for our new baby in our family, we just couldn’t wait to share our news with you all, but unfortunately sometimes life just doesn’t go as we plan.

She continued: "So much to say, but somehow I can’t find the words. Absolutely devastated & heartbroken …but couldn’t be more grateful for the hugs I got from my big(er) babies coming through the door when we arrived home."
