Kate Ferdinand flaunts baby bump as she surprises Rio with a 42nd birthday meal

Kate Ferdinand surprised husband Rio with a lavish 42nd birthday meal at their home last night.

The former TOWIE star, 29, shared a selection of snaps of the happy event showing showing her with the former footballer and her three step-kids Tia, nine, Tate, 12, and Lorenz, 14.

In one snap she is seen standing next to the former Manchester United footballer while flaunting her large baby bump in a long black dress.

Kate wore her blonde locks into loose waves and finished her look with gold circle earrings.

Rio wore a dark blue three-piece suit as he and Kate grinned in their kitchen.

In one snap the former footballer posed with Tate and Lorenz, who wore tuxedos, and had their faces covered with smiley face emojis.

Another heartwarming snap showed Rio talking to his daughter who donned a black dress and bow in her hair.

Kate also shared a snap of a menu, cooked by the kids, made up of a garlic prawns starter, plus a fillet steak and homemade chips main.

On the dessert menu was apple crumble, chocolate brownie or strawberries and meringue.

Kate captioned her post: "Happy birthday to YOU ok so we decided to dress up and surprise dad when he got home from work .... dinner cooked by the kids lockdown birthdays aren’t so bad after all."

Kate hit back at online trolls earlier this week who slated her for saying that Rio and his late wife Rebecca's children were her "family".

She was attacked on social media after she said that his first three children were "family" as she brings them up as if they were her own.

One troll wrote: “Ooof. Rebeccas family. I’m all for stepmoms etc. And you’ve stepped into a massive hole. But those kids are Rebeccas. And they’ll not thank you for saying otherwise xx.”

She labelled the trolls "narrow minded" and "sad" as she replied to comments made on her Instagram post.
