The Kardashian family have been treated early this Christmas as momager Kris Jenner gifted all of her children lavish gingerbread houses.

Kris, 65, gives her daughters the tasty treats every festive season, but this year it is more special than ever as their annual Christmas party has been called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The yummy gingerbread homes cost an eye-watering $1,200 (£900) each and Kris gets them handmade for her girls from The Solvang Bakery in California.

However the beautiful biscuit houses are bigger in person than the online versions on the bakery website, so it's thought they actually cost more.

The cookie mansions traditionally feature names of all family members on the front of them.

The mansions look very realistic as they all feature a rug and lights inside.

The bakery staff who make the incredible houses offer free personalisation for up to six names, complete with gingerbread figurines.

Excited by their new tasty gifts, the Kardashian clan have already showed off the houses on their Instagram pages.

Khloe, 36, shared a snap of hers, while Kim, 40, and Kylie, 23, posted theirs online a few days ago.

On her social media page, the mother-of-one wrote: "I love you mommy" in a nod to Kris.

The front of the house said Tristan - who is Khloe's partner Tristan Thompson - as well as mommy and her daughter True.

And Kourtney showed off her home as well which had the names of her three children - Mason, Penelope and Reign - written on the front in icing.

Kim posted on her profile: "Thank you so much mom, you always know how to make me and my kids feel so welcome and bring the holiday cheer."

Kris is eager to spread festive cheer after the family were forced to cancel their Christmas Eve party for the first time since 1978.

California is currently in a lockdown, which means the famous clan are unable to see each other to celebrate Christmas.

They also won't be releasing their famous card this year.
