Kardashians ‘concerned and upset’ over Kanye West’s abortion and slavery rant

The Kardashian/Jenner clan is reportedly "concerned and upset" after Kanye West's controversial presidential rally in South Carolina on Sunday, after his comments have raised eyebrows all over the world.

The rapper, 43, drew ire from the crowd after suggesting that activist Harriet Tubman "didn't free the slaves" and "just had them go work for other white people" in a bombshell rant.

Being one to often find himself in hot water, Kanye later went on to discuss his marriage to Kim Kardashian as he boldly declared that if she divorces him, he would be at peace as she gave him their daughter North.

Not even 24 hours have passed since his explosive speech, but his friends and family are already reportedly picking up the pieces.

TMZ reports that Kanye's closest friends and family members believe he is "in desperate need of professional help".

The news outlet also reports the source insisting that Kanye is "in the middle of a serious bipolar episode" but reportedly refuses to listen.

Kanye's explosive rant saw him discuss abortion.

The star addressed the controversial topic with a personal story from his relationship with wife, as he tearfully claimed: "I almost killed my daughter."

Kanye said: "In the Bible, it says, 'Thou shall not kill'. I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking, because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, different girlfriends and everything… and she said, 'I’m pregnant', and I said, 'Yes!' And then I said, 'Uh oh'."

The I Am A God artist described the emotional turmoil of the situation with Kim.

He continued: "She was crying and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand."

TMZ reports that Kim is allegedly "upset" with Kanye for bringing that up, although she has not yet commented on his speech on social media.

Mirror Online has contacted Kanye and Kardashian's reps for comment.

After the commotion, Kanye has reportedly failed to meet yet another deadline to get his name on the South Carolina ballot in his bid for the US presidency.

According to ABC News, an insider at the South Carolina Board of Elections has revealed that the rapper, 43, and his team did not file the petition required to get his name on the state's ballot.

The ballot - which required 10,000 signatures - was due at midday on July 20.

The U.S State of South Carolina is also identified as a key state in the presidential elections.
