Kanye West Shouts Out To Eminem For Appearing On Dr. Dre Remix Of Use This Gospel

Kanye West continues to get his name in the headlines. Billboard reported this week that Eminem will be featured on a Dr. Dre remix of the Kanye song, “Use This Gospel,” which came out in 2019.

On his Twitter account this Friday, the 18th of September, Yeezy showed his appreciation for the artist by noting how the legendary MC was going to appear on the track. According to the outlet, the song is one of North West’s favorite among her father’s massive repertoire.

West wrote in all-capital letters that he appreciated Eminem hopping on the track, after noting how he always “loved and respected” him. West added that it was one of North West’s favorite songs.

As it was previously reported, Kanye’s song, “Use This Gospel,” was featured on his record, Jesus Is King, which came out in October 2019. Not long after it came out, it was also reported that Dr. Dre would be releasing a remix of the record.

While many fans of Kanye are waiting to hear what he has in store for the future, the rapper recently took to his Twitter account to say that he wouldn’t release another song until he was done with his contract with Sony and Universal Music Group. Kanye has been putting both companies on blast over the last week while simultaneously demanding to own his master recordings.

Earlier in the year, in January 2019, Kanye filed lawsuits against EMI, Roc-A-Fella Records, UMG Recordings, Bravado International Group, and Def Jam. EMI is the company that has administered the rights to use his music since 2003.

EMI retaliated with their own lawsuit against Kanye in March 2019, claiming he was trying to get out of the contract which he had agreed to beforehand. And in the following January of this year, EMI and Kanye had reportedly reached an agreement.

Regarding new music from the controversial performer, Kanye said he would drop another record, “Donda,” in late July. The album was supposed to be accompanied by a film, but it hasn’t come to fruition yet. Fans of the rapper know Kanye’s release dates are rarely set in stone.
