Kanye West opens up about his ‘crying and gut-wrenched’ manic bipolar episode

Kanye West has spoken honestly about his "gut-wrenched" manic bipolar episode.

His "I almost killed my daughter" tearful outburst made the intimate conversation he had with his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian about the possibility of aborting their daughter North public after seven years.

Now Kanye praised people for coming out to give their perspectives of what a "true manic episode" looks like following his presidential rally outburst.

The musician shared his experiences during a manic episode leave him "crying" and feeling "gut-wrenched".

He told Joe Rogan on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience: "I cry [when I have a maniac episode] and I was gut-wrenched at the - I don't even like to say out loud what I said on South Carolina.

"The idea of hmm. I'm trying to word it in a way which is safe and covers my family. People saw this clip of me crying people- some people didn't know what I was crying about.

"I was crying about there was a possible chance, looking at a way there was a chance that we didn't make, Kim and I didn't make the family I have today.

"That's my family friendly way to word that. Just the idea of it tears me apart."

His outburst at the rally escalated to a Twitter firestorm where the rapper sensationally claimed he had been trying to end his marriage and compared his life to horror movie Get Out.

Kim publicly stood by him and urged people to have compassion for her "brilliant yet complicated" husband who later apologised for what he had said.

The couple have got their marriage back on track following the rocky summer and whispers of divorce talks.

Lovebirds Kim and Kanye escaped the limelight for some time to go glamping.
