Even though Kanye West is one of the most creative people in the world of fashion and music, the rapper, every once in a while, comes under for his work. Hot New Hip Hop says the performing artist was put on blast yet again for the design of one of his latest products.
Reportedly, a sneak preview of the new Yeezy collection made its way onto social media, and fans aren’t happy with how they look. Kanye’s Yeezy Boost 400s spread onto the internet and fans have been trashing them ever since.
The reaction to them has been one of confusion, one could say. Hot New Hip Hop says fans have been making fun of the shoes since the photos leaked online, with memes and jokes spreading like crazy.
Additionally, some fans believe the shoes are so bad that they couldn’t possibly be real. Regardless, 2020 hasn’t been the greatest year for Kanye West anyway, who seems to have released one project after another that has received either mixed reviews or downright condemnation.
(Although, one could argue that Kanye’s work this year simply won’t be appreciated until years go by, like a cult-classic).
As it was previously reported, Kanye announced he was going to run for the president of the United States of America on the 4th of July weekend. His decision was widely mocked on the internet and in the entertainment industry, although his rapper cohorts were a lot less judgmental.

Additionally, Kanye released a surprise song that was trashed by fans and critics alike, including from the YouTuber music reviewer, Anthony Fantano, who said it was one of the worst things the rapper had put out in a long time.
On the other side of the aisle, Kanye did manage to spark a multi-hundred-million-dollar deal with GAP, the clothing company. The news of his partnership with GAP – a company that has been struggling over the last decade – reportedly led to a massive increase in the company’s stock.
His wife, Kim Kardashian, has received a lot more praise than Kanye, including for her work in criminal justice reform.
