Kanye West has apologised to Kim Kardashian for going 'public with a private matter' and begs her to forgive him.
The 43-year-old rapper and fashion mogul took to social media to share his grovelling post on Saturday.
In the message, which he shared with his 30.5 million followers, Kanye addressed his wife directly and acknowledged that he had 'hurt her'.
His apology came shortly after the rapper appeared to took swipes at Kim on social media amid rumours that divorce lawyers had been called.
"I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter," Kanye penned on Twitter.
"I did not cover her like she has covered me.
"To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.
Kim and Kanye's relationship has been brought into focus in recent weeks following the string of revelations that he made during and after his South Carolina election rally.
At the campaign rally, the Yeezy designer was reduced to tears and revealed that the couple had considered aborting their seven-year-old daughter North.
Earlier this week, the rapper then shocked his fans when he made the sensational claim that he had been trying to divorce Kim for two years ever since she met Meek Mill in a hotel room.
In a slew of bizarre tweets that have since been deleted, Kanye also implied that the Kardashian family had tried to send doctors to 'lock him up'.
He also likened his mother-in-law Kris Jenner to a 'white supremacy' for ignoring his calls and putting out a statement without his approval.
In further social media attacks, Kanye appeared to take a swipe at his wife of six years by writing that the "West children will never do playboy."
Although Kim has kept relatively quiet on social media, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star broke her silence a few days ago to address Kanye's bipolar disorder in an emotional post.
On Wednesday, the mum of four penned a statement in which she wrote: "I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and is actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions.
"He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the personal loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is highlighted by his bipolar disorder.
There was no mention of divorce in the statement, despite rumours that lawyers had been called in.
