Kamala Harris made sure to join the long list of people addressing the infuriating decision in the Breonna Taylor case. As you know, the grand jury chose not to charge the police officers responsible for her death with murder but only with three counts of first-degree endangerment!
Soon after, many Hollywood stars expressed their disappointment and shame over that decision and now, it’s Kamala Harris’ turn, as a political figure who could soon become the vice-president, to share her opinion on this injustice.
That being said, just like others have been saying on social media, Kamala Harris stressed that the world ‘must never stop’ saying Breonna Taylor’s name for as long as there is no justice for her.
You probably know that the 26 year old was shot multiple times in her own house while sleeping in her bed by three officers during a failed drug stint.
Kamala took to her Twitter account to write: ‘Tonight, I’m thinking of Breonna Taylor’s family who is still grieving the loss of a daughter and sister.’
Shockingly enough, the endangerment charges actually relate to the officer shooting into neighboring apartments upon freely opening fire and not to ‘endangering’ Breonna’s life, as per a report from the Associated Press.
Harris went on: ‘We must never stop speaking Breonna’s name as we work to reform our justice system, including overhauling no-knock warrants.’

‘It’s still Breonna Taylor for me💙💔💙 #ThesystemfailedBreonna,’ the mother wrote.
As mentioned before, Harris is in no way the first public personality that laments over the unjust decision in Breonna’s case.
In fact, it’s been met with angered reactions from a big number of celebs, politicians and other influencers.
