Judge refuses to release Michigan teen who violated probation by not completing virtual class work

A Michigan family court judge has denied a motion to release a teen who has been held at a juvenile facility since mid-May. The girl was charged with violating her probation after not doing her online schoolwork. The judge cited the teen's past violence against her mother as the reason to stay in a juvenile center.
