Jude Law is now a father of six! The actor and wife Phillipa Coan welcomed their first child together and they could not be any happier!
Jude Law appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and that is when he made the announcement that there is a sixth addition to his family.
He confirmed that everything is ‘really wonderful’ after his current wife gave birth to their first baby together.
The reveal was quite unusual and amusing, however, since when the host asked the actor what he had been doing in quarantine, he started by saying that he’s been gardening a lot.
Then, as a supposed afterthought, he added: ‘Oh! And on top of that, I had a baby.’
This caused Jimmy to say: ‘Buried the lede, buried the lede on that one. Congrats, dad! That’s awesome.’
Jude Law added that it is, indeed, ‘really wonderful…We feel pretty blessed that we when we’re in a time, that…we could just nest and enjoy each other’s company.’
The celeb mentioned that because of the pandemic, the birth was at least a bit unusual but it does sound like both mom and newborn are healthy and happy.
As for the name of the baby, or even its sex, Jude Law did not reveal either so it seems like fans will just have to wait a little longer until he’s ready to share that information with them!
Who knows? Maybe an adorable first picture will make its way to social media at some point as well!
As mentioned before, this is Jude and Phillipa’s first child together but for the actor, it’s lucky number six!
He shares 23 year old son, Rafferty, 19 year old daughter, Iris, and 17 year old son, Rudy, with former wife and actress, Sadie Frost, as well as Sophia, 10, with Samantha Burke, and Ada, 5, with singer-songwriter Catherine Harding.
