John Travolta has honoured two of his kids in a sweet throwback photo after he was rocked by another family tragedy.
It has been a difficult year for the 66-year-old Pulp Fiction star with his nephew, Sam Travolta Jr, passing away just weeks after his wife Kelly Preston lost her battle with cancer.
The Hollywood star celebrated his son and daughter with a cute throwback pic of when they were small children, on Instagram.
John's daughter Ella is now 20, while son Benjamin is nine but his boy is only just a toddler in the snap as Ella is aged around 12 years old.
The actor has captioned the happy photo: "TBT 'My babies.'"
There was still a tinge of sadness to the pic though as the children's brother Jett is missing. Born in 1992, he passed away aged 16.
It has been a difficult few months for John, as he continues to mourn the passing of his screenwriter nephew Sam, who died at his home in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin on September 23.
Sam had made headlines when he spoke about the psychological toll Scientology had taken on him.
Speaking in 2015, he slammed the church that he left in 2007 despite John still being a devotee of it.
The most tragic moment of John's year has been the death of Kelly Preston on July 12, who was his wife for 29 years.
She had fought breast cancer for two years before passing away aged 57.
John announced the news in a heartbreaking post in which was the first time that her battle with cancer had been revealed.
He wrote alongside a photo from the their wedding day in 1991: "It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer."
He continued: "She found a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.
"My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side."
John added: "Kelly's love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don't hear from us for a while.
"But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT."
