John Barrowman rents out his Welsh pad for £2,700 a month complete with quirky pool

John Barrowman is renting out his bungalow in Wales for a cool £2,700 a month.

The actor, 53, has put up a listing for the quirky home online, and it seems as though the pad is worth every penny.

John listed the property at £623 per week, and the location is a catch as it's perfect for those looking to be near Cardiff's hustle and bustle but far enough for a quiet lifestyle.

It's located just seven miles southwest of the capital, and the peaceful cul-de-sac is situated in the picturesque village of Sully.

The property is nothing short of a catch, as it's perfect for those who want to get away for a staycation but have the comfort and space of an actual home.

The property's images show that the pad boasts two cosy living rooms, perfect for cuddling up on the sofa for a chilled movie night.

The living rooms come equipped with the latest and greatest gadgets, including a huge TV - perfect for watching a game or just catching up on your favourite show.

There's something for everyone in this house, as those who don't fancy watching TV can go on the deck and gaze at the stars.

A huge free-standing telescope makes it perfect to get closer to nature.

The unique pad boasts four bedrooms - each of which has plenty of space, no matter how much luggage you may arrive with.

The decor gives a nod to John's American past, as the beds are adorned with stylish pillows of the US stars and stripes.

Another bedroom boasts Scottish decor, topped with pillows of the Scottish flag.

The house, which is listed on Zoopla, is described as: "A furnished, four bedroom (one en-suite), detached property comprising of an entrance porch, entrance hall, cloakroom, split level, open plan living area with dining space leading down to sitting room, down again to lounge, spiral staircase to large office (formally bedroom five), fitted kitchen, utility, master bathroom with bath and shower.

"The property also has a double garage, parking for several cars, inner courtyard, a rear garden laid to lawn and a heated, outdoor swimming pool."

And the pool is perfect for those hot British days.

Topped with a stunning view of the vista, it's safe to say you won't be wanting to get out of the pool once in.

A large deck stands in the garden area that features a dining table and some sun loungers.

It's believed that John snapped up the pad back in 2007 after not being able to resist the views whilst there for filming with the BBC.

It's reported that John paid a whopping £725,000 for the home back in 2007, according to property website Right Move, and it has remained in his ownership ever since.
