Joey Essex was reportedly left 'stunned but delighted' to find that his topless pictures were being used by a woman to help pleasure herself in a new BBC drama.

In the opening scenes of Industry, which has been directed by Girls creator Lena Dunham, saw a woman perform an explicit act on herself as she gazed at photos of the former TOWIE star.

The 30-year-old's muscle bound body was seen on the screen of the character Harper Stern, played by Myha'la Herrold, mobile phone as she brought herself to a climax.

The new drama from Auntie Beeb is set in the world of finance in London and Joey is reportedly glad that he has made such an impact and hopes that it might bring him to wider attention.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: "I'm glad to have been of service.'

The publication also reported that a source close to Joey added: "Nobody asked him about using his image so it was a complete shock but Joey finds it hilarious.

"Who knows what doors it could open, he's already had some offers from America so who knows what's next."

The BBC drama follows graduate recruits at an investment bank in the capital. They all have six months to prove themselves as worthy of being in the industry before half of them are fired from the role.

The series will be seen through the eyes of Harper Stern, who is an outsider from New York, and it will examine gender, race, class, and privilege in the workplace.

Centred around Pierpoint & Co, the ambitious trainees will do all they can to ensure that they are the ones chosen, even if it gets a little underhand.

*Industry airs on Tuesday at 9.15pm on BBC Two. Previous episodes are available on BBC iPlayer.
