Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson went make-up free as she pottered around Calabasas in California after shutting down rumours that her debut album has been scrapped

Jesy Nelson was spotted out and about in LA on Wednesday ahead of the release of her brand-new music.

The former Little Mix star, 31, opted for a dressed-down ensemble as she was pictured doing a spot of shopping in Los Angeles this week.

The British bombshell, who has become famous for her risqué and ultra-glam outfits on Instagram, looked chic in a tiny black crop top and a pair of oversized basketball shorts for her casual outing.

Jesy showcased her gorgeous figure in the on-trend outfit as she topped off the sporty look with a pair of high-top Nike trainers and some oversized sunglasses.

She allowed her natural beauty to shine through in her latest appearance in California as she went makeup free on her low-key day out in the sunshine.

Jesy has been making the most of her American trip as she continues to work on her upcoming album.

The former Little Mix singer has been sharing little snippets of herself recording the album with excited fans on Instagram, and it seems as though her new music could drop any day now.

Last month, Jesy was forced to deny speculation that her first record has been scrapped.

The self-proclaimed U.K baddie hit back at reports that record label bosses had cancelled plans for a debut album from the star, following an underwhelming response from her first single, Boyz, last October.

As rumours circulated that music bosses wanted Jesy to 'go back to the drawing board' when it comes to singles for her first solo album, Jesy took to social media to set the record straight.

"Don’t usually comment on stuff like this because I can’t be bothered to waste my energy on total and utter nonsense so I’m going to address this once and once only as I know you guys are freaking out," the singer wrote on Instagram.

"I promise you there is absolutely nothing to worry about. I’ve had an amazing time in the studio in LA working on my album which is almost finished.

"I’m so excited for you all to hear the next single which is coming soon. So, stay tuned."

She signed off: "I love you all and thank you for being so patient x."
