Jesy Nelson admitted she suffered a panic attack during Little Mix's live performance.

Her nerves left her in tears and unable to perform alongside her bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge.

Openly the songstress has spoken about her attempt to take her own life after cruel trolling escalated when she was propelled to fame on The X Factor.

Her ongoing battle with anxiety has at times made Jesy shy away from the bright beaming spotlight which looms over her as a pop star.

The singer confided in her fans about her nerves paralysing her during their big live gig.

She wrote on Instagram : "Rehearsals.

"So my nerves got the better of me today and I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for live lounge today and like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it.

"This is what we originally did in rehearsals."

Jesy tried to reassure her seven million fans after concerns were snowballing for the star on social media.

Effortlessly Perrie picked up the microphone to step in for Jesy as she showed support for her fellow bandmate.

Her bandmates were quick to comfort her as soon as the nerves set in.

Jade rushed to be by Jesy's side.

Jesy bravely returned to the stage to finish the rest of her set with her girlfriends.

Little Mix took to the stage to perform their song Holiday.

They followed their track with a cover of Harry Styles' song Falling.

Jesy shared her heartache over trolling in her award-winning documentary Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out.
