Jessica Plummer gets new tattoo with special meaning ahead of rumoured I'm A Celeb appearance

Former EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer has taken a trip to a tattoo parlour amid rumours that she is set to appear on the upcoming series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Jessica Plummer has had a striking new tattoo inked onto her body amid rumours she has signed up to appear on the upcoming series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.

The EastEnders actress, 28, took to social media on Wednesday to share with her fans that she was visiting a tattoo parlour and revealed the sweet meaning behind her decision to have a flower image etched into her skin.

On her Stories the mother-of-one to daughter Noa - uploaded a snap of artwork that wraps around her ankle and penned: "

"Two Lily's [sic.]. Noa's middle name is after her great Grandmother. My Gg."

Shouting at the artist responsible for her new ink, she added: "Thank you so much @wolfgangtattoo it's perfect"

Stunning beauty Jessica played Chantelle Atkins in BBC soap EastEnders until her character was killed last month in a devastating domestic abuse storyline.

And in recent weeks it has been reported the will be taking part in the new I'm a Celeb series, which is set in Wales for the first time ever as COVID-19 restrictions ruled out the usual Australian set.

A source told The Sun : “Soap stars always do well in the show, just look at Jessica’s Enders’ predecessor Jacqueline Jossa last year.

“Bosses are delighted to be able to convince her to take part.

“It’s a great move for both parties as she’s just left the soap and this is a great opportunity for her personality to be shown to millions."

The source added that Jessica hopes the show will be the next "stepping stone" for her career.

Jessica would be joining a line up of reportedly confirmed stars including Coronation Street's Beverly Callard, Strictly Come Dancing's AJ Pritchard and TV host Vernon Kay.

Other rumoured celebrities taking part include Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, This Morning's Eamonn Holmes, and singer Katherine Jenkins.

This year's series will be taking place in Gwrych Castle in Wales, but recent changes to lockdown measures have thrown the show into question.
