Jay Z Pays The Bonds For Alvin Cole’s Mother And Others Arrested While Protesting The Teen’s Murder

Jay Z decided to help out some of the protesters who got arrested in Wisconsin while protesting the killing of 17 year old Alvin Cole. This includes the teenager’s own mother Tracy, who was among the dozens of protesters taken into the police’s custody.

The protesters were asking for the authorities to charge the officer responsible for the killing of the 17 year old Alvin Cole, with no success, since they refused to do so and instead, arrested them.

District Attorney John Chisholm chose not to charge Wauwatosa Officer Joseph Mensah with anything, arguing in his report that, there was ‘sufficient evidence’ he had ‘subjective belief that deadly force was necessary and that belief was objectively reasonable.’

Obviously, hearing about this, Jay Z could not help but help out those arrested, the famous rapper paying for the bonds and fines of those arrested while asking for justice.

Furthermore, Jay Z as well as Team Roc, which is the social justice arm of Roc Nation, have also paid an unknown amount of money in court fees for Tracy Cole and her daughters, Tristiana, Taleavia, and Tahudah, as well as a few others arrested at the protests.

This was first confirmed by a spokesperson for Team Roc via CBS News, on Friday.

They also mentioned that the mourning mother got injured due to the officers using ‘excessive force’ during the arrests.

Executive director for Team Roc, Dania Diaz, stated that: ‘Our hearts break for the family of Alvin Cole and the whole Wauwatosa community. Not only did the District Attorney’s Office fail to hold Joseph Mensah accountable for killing Alvin Cole, the local police also arrested and injured Alvin’s mother, Tracy, and his sisters while they peacefully protested alongside Jacob Blake’s father.’

The Wauwatosa Police Department arrested around 24 people at the demonstrations, over violating the city’s 7 P.M. curfew.

They also reported that two of the protesters also needed medical attention.
