James Jordan dances with daughter Ella in the kitchen

James Jordan has showcased his "dad bod" in a video of him dancing with daughter Ella, after opening up about putting on weight since leaving Strictly Come Dancing.

The professional dancer, 44 - who left the BBC show in 2013 - shared the clip on Instagram yesterday after appearing on Loose Women earlier this week with wife Ola Jordan, 39.

The couple - who have been married since 2003 - brought their two-year-old daughter Ella onto the ITV show at one point during the interview, with it marking her TV debut.

And following the broadcast, James has shared footage of himself dancing with his daughter - with him calling on fans not to judge him for showing off his "dad bod" in the video.

It sees a shirtless James, wearing a pair of maroon shorts, dancing around in the kitchen alongside his daughter Ella, who is seen wearing a nappy and striped t-shirt in the clip.

They both show off their dance moves, with James even coaching her at one point whilst moving to the song Boogie Wonderland by Earth, Wind & Fire with the Emotions.

He wrote: "[After Loose Women] many of you have been asking if we ever dance with her so I thought you'd like to see me doing a bit of dad dancing with our little princess."

He added: "She's got the moves right?! And yes I know - I've got the dad bod to go with the dad dancing. Don't judge me. I've not needed to wear tight Lycra for a while (thank God!)"

It comes after James and Ola spoke about having gained weight since leaving the BBC dance show during their interview on Loose Women on Monday (July 25) afternoon.

The discussion came in response to Ola - who left Strictly in 2015 - posting a recent photo of the couple, which she said had left her "horrified" over how her figure now looked.

The interview saw Ola and James discuss their physiques, after she posted a photo of them on Instagram recently and said she was 'horrified'

Ola had said in her post on Instagram that her new figure was the result of having a baby and doing less dancing, with her hoping to motivate herself to "do something about it."

She said on the show: "I had an amazing body when I was on Strictly. [...] Coming to the realisation that it's not the same and it's not going to be the same anymore, it's really hard."

James added that they aren't training for 10 hours a day like they used to and revealed on that he's put on three stone since he left Strictly, which he said is "quite a lot."

Ola further commented that although people say that she looks great, she doesn't feel the same. "I don't feel like that. I don't feel like I'm in my body. It's weird," she explained.
