The James Bond films can keep going for ever according to the producers – who say changing the lead actor “keeps it fresh”.
No Time To Die will be the 25th Bond film and Daniel Craig is set to hand the role of 007 on to someone else after starring in five films.
Producer Michael G. Wilson said: “By recasting Bond, everyone that has done it has brought something new and different to the character and the interpretation of the character.
"So in that way it keeps it fresh and evolving." he added.
And producer Barbara Broccoli insisted some things do stay the same in all Bond films, classic lines and the odd one-liner quip and they will be found in No Time To Die.
She added: “There are a few lines that are in the script which Bond fans will love and some wonderful locations described in the books.
"We consider this film to be a classic Bond film with a modern twist.
“Heroism is never going to go out of fashion and I think we always talk about these films as celebrating heroism, the ordinary man.
"Bond isn't a superhero and particularly in Daniel's portrayal he bleeds and he cries.
"We like to celebrate people in everyday life who do things for the greater good and that is something worth celebrating.
On his Bond, actor Craig told The Official James Bond podcast: “I said to Barbara and Michael ‘I can’t do an impression of something which has gone before’. I can try and reinvent it because that to me is fascinating’ they said that is exactly what they want.”
The 25th Bond film, released on November 12 in the UK co-stars Oscar winner Rami Malek as “a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology” tackling our spy.
There is also a new female “00 agent” played by Lashana Lynch.
