Inside Paul O’Grady’s Kent farm with sunbathing pigs, goats and adorable dogs

Animal-lover Paul O'Grady has filled his farm in Kent with a menagerie of pets including five pet pigs, goats and his adorable dogs.

The telly favourite, 65, has six pigs that are New Zealand Kunekunes - a name that means "fat and round" in Maori.

He recently shared a picture of them all lying down enjoying the sunshine.

Paul wrote: "My pigs. They’ve been out all day down the field and now they’re enjoying the evening sun.

"There’s another pig but she’s gone to bed early probably to make sure she gets a decent spec in their shed.

"They’re New Zealand Kunekune pigs and very smart but you can hear their snorting for miles."

He also shared a video of one of the pigs, named Tom, showing how he obeys a command to sit just like a dog and gets treats in return.

As well as pigs, Paul also has two goats, one of whom is named Maleficent.

Paul also has four dogs, Nancy, Arfur, Conchita and Eddie, who he describes as a "tyrant and a despot who rules supreme".

Earlier this year he joked that Conchita is a "wolf in Maltese clothing" after she threw a dead rabbit head on his bed in the middle of the night.

He wrote: "You see this picture of innocence... Well this is Conchita and she’s a classic case of not judging a book by its cover.

"She a wolf in Maltese clothing as yesterday Arfur was playing with a headless baby rabbit (dead, naturally) and then at 3 am Conchita, threw the remains of dead baby rabbits head up all over my bed.

"This was followed by Nancy waking me up at 6am as she wanted to 'play'. If I get anymore pets then it’ll be a goldfish."
