Happily the couple live together at their home with their two daughters Phoebe and Amber.
For the second national lockdown, Vernon has been staying in the I'm A Celeb castle for the reality series.
At home, their massive garden was a great place for the family to host Phoebe's 16th birthday camping treat in lockdown.
They slept under the stars in a teepee tent and decorated with a blossoming flower wall.
Tess also has been grafting her green thumb in lockdown.
The Strictly Come Dancing host set up a tiny "experimental" vegetable plot and planted them at the start of the first lockdown in March.
It was a great success; the star grew delicious raspberries and strawberries on her plot of land.
At the time, she wrote: "My tiny ‘experimental’ vegetable plot & planted these at the start of lockdown, and am now chuffed to bits as the first raspberries & strawberries."
From the comforts of their lavish home, the family can look out the airy windows into the lush garden.
It's got the ultimate chic look with a cream sofa and rug to match.
During lockdown, the living room doubled up as Tess' dressing room where she dolled up for the National TV Awards.
Their family kitchen also has proved to be a true delight and the marble topped surfaces give the room a glossy finish.
White orchids have proudly been presented alongside the kitchen gadgets.
Their shed has been transformed into a private home gym where the couple can workout together.
Football shirts have been framed and hung up on the walls.
Tess and Vernon's love story stretched back to when they tied the knot in 2003.
Their marriage weathered a sexting scandal which sent shockwaves through the showbiz circuit.
Vernon publicly apologised to his wife Tess on the radio at the time when the scandal hit headlines in 2010.
